Hi Everyone,

We've never been to Busch Gardens Williamsburg -- and are thinking of going this Friday.

Apparently the Williamsburg schools are on Spring Break all this week. Is this a fairly "light crowd" week to go? Or will we be facing a zoo?

I'm not great with heavy crowds.

Any feedback would be helpful.

Thank you!

Alley

Should be pretty crowded since a lot of people have off for Good Friday.

We went today and you were completely and totally correct -- it was a zoo. Sad because it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'll try it again on a Mon. or Tues. and hope for the best.

If you have any tips for avoiding the crowds, I'm all ears.

Ah, sorry to hear that it didn't turn out well!

Go midweek and you'll have a lot better time. Not a big crowd and practically no lines. Make sure you get there before June!

I agree! Try the middle of the week! Having been a resident and having lived her for several years I can definitely say that I like going in the middle of the week when possible. A friend of mine and I went after school on a wednesday and it was rather amazing because it wasn't crowded at all!
