Any thoughts on the least expensive way to get into Busch Gardens just to see it? Not really interested in the rides, just want to see the park. We could go any time of day, any day of the year if they have certain days they slash the prices. (Maybe a half-price day during the off season for local residents or something like that?)

Ideas?

I think after 5 they cut the price for the day. You should look at their website, or call them for information.

A one day ticket is the same price as the summer pass for VA residents. $66 or $67. The pass is good through August (maybe Labor Day, can't remember)

I don't think they cut the price after 5, but I could be wrong. I know there's no half off days.

Rats, I was hopping they would have a "locals" day in the off season. Oh well, it sounds like the Locals season pass is a fairly good deal. Wonder if my AARP discount would apply to that too?

Season pass members should have received a voucher in the mail recently for a promotion of half-off single-day tickets for up to 6 guests. I think a season pass member has to be with you when ticket is purchased at park. Coupon expires 5/20 if i remember correctly. I'll be attending Busch Gardens this Sunday to see the NEWSBOYS! woot.

The only thing I can think of is waiting until Xmas time to see the lights. I am not sure how much the tickets are but I doubt it is as much as a days pass. Then you'll get to see nice xmas lights and walk around.

Caladium, here's a link to the park information that contains the phone number to call and a form if you want to send an email.

It can't hurt.
