Suffolk Peanut Festival will feature concerts, amusement rides, contests and competitions, a demolition derby, a truck and tractor pull, motorcycle rally, fireworks and much more.

10:00am - City of Suffolk Peanut Fest Parade in Downtown Suffolk
Thursday October 4
2:00 - 10:30pm Festival open to the public - Duke Automotive Information Booth and Hometown County Fair Tent open all hours. Amusement rides and games include a full-size carnival complete with ferris wheel. On Thursday, pay one-price for all-you-can-ride carnival. Tickets: $25 per person. Other activities include a shooting arcade, family train rides, face painting, Bear Path Acres, peanut toss and more.
3-7pm - Suffolk Ruritan Shrimp Feast - Enjoy all-you-can-eat steamed shrimp, NC barbecue, chicken, coleslaw, baked beans, rolls and adult beverages. Live entertainment. Call 514-4130 for information.
