I've heard rumors that Costco is thinking of opening near the outlet malls? Or, maybe, has recently opened there? Any truth to this?

In addition to Costco, what are some of the other good grocery stores in the area? No Wegmans I guess, but maybe a really nice Bloom?

I doubt that COSTCO would open a store there, there's already one in Newport News.

Harris Teeter is a nice store, as are Martin's and the newer Farm Fresh.

I saw it mentioned in this article, but it's from last year. Guess it never happened? Or maybe it got delayed.

We'll try to work out time to check out at least one of these. Of the three, which one do you guys like best? Martin's is the local fav, right? I seem to recall that being popular in Richmond.

Now that I've driven by the site where it was proposed, maybe it's just as well. Lots of traffic right there--and Costco would really add to it.
