Greetings! We are moving to VA from Guam this month. We've been offered a house, military housing, in Wadsworth Shores. Can anyone give me some current information about this housing area? We will eventually be looking to buy, but right now we will be moving into base housing while we get familiar with the area. Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

***WoW!*** I have the exact same question! We are on NB Guam now and our orders were pushed up from October to flying out with our boonie dog in the next 3 weeks for Little Creek! (Husbands orders not til end of July though) yikes! I just got an email from housing and I am wondering if you decided on Wadsworth Shores or to rent locally and if you like it? Also, what do you think about the area?

Well, I guess you just got there? I hope you had a good flight and I am sure you are terribly jet lagged. Good luck with your move fellow Guammie!

Thank you!

Wadsworth Shores has been renovated. There are a ton of rentals and homes for sale if you choose to live off base. The Base has a lot of activities and is convenient to everything.

Default Wadsworth Shores is HORRIBLE

Don't do it. My wife and I finally escaped last year after two horrible years there. Sure, it's close to the beach but it can be best described as a ghetto/trailer park. It's very old (40 years) and crime runs rampant throughout it. Google "Wadsworth Shores shooting" to read the latest incident.
