Hey Mr. Williamsburg, I just got a 2009 Buick Lacrosse back on Jan 30th and although I wash it every week, I have noticed tree sap and bug droppings that won't come off with Rubbing Compound or Bug & Tar remover, even a mothers Clay Bar wouldn't cut through it. I was hoping you could direct to a professional detail shop here in Williamsburg or Hampton Roads. I have used buggy bathe before, but the last time I went they didn't rinse the car off and I ended up rinsing suds off the car a week later when I washed it, so they're out of the question.

I was also hoping you could give me a recommendation from the following:

The Gift Auto Detailing
Any Auto Detailing
Hatchers Superior Detailing

Thanks in advance.

I too have tree sap that won't come off. For normal car washes I use Buggy Bathe all the time and have always been pleased. I am searching for a detail shop same as you. An auto shop owner I know , swears by "The Gift" on Mooretown. I will give them a try soon...

Thanks, I have an appointment with the Gift on Thursday. They said they do the following:
Wash & Dry
Clay Bar
Buff out scratches and swirls on the clearcoat
Wash again to remove buffing compound
Wax
Clean rims and tires

All for around $150. Can't beat that.

Stay away from the gift. My clear coat was damaged as well as having lots of swirl marks and buffer trails that weren't there before. When I asked the owner for my money back he got an attitude, told me I was ridiculous and the car looked better than it did before I brought it there, then told me to "do what I have to do" to get my money back.
