As long as I know it's not just me, kaz. No offense to those that VA Beach brings happiness to. It's just not for me. But glad I'm not the only one. I need an escape clause.

The problem is there is no progress here. It is mundane suburbia filled with nothing but a bunch of desperate housewives and people that think they are fabulous. It's no wonder this place has a drinking problem.

Uhhhh this is the state of the country as a whole, not just Va Beach. If you dont believe it just turn on something besides a football game. Take a look at what our elected officials are not doing. They are running us around in circles of doing nothing. Reality shows like Honey Boo Boo and Red Neck wedding and I cant even think of all the other garbage on TV. Little league games with no winners? This is America man. Now you know why we are hated around the world. My lovely bride says I need to shut up now ,so I will but I think you get my drift. I just moved from a drunken Va Beach Neighborhood in June. I feel your pain. I moved to a rural area of Suffolk.

Not trying to offend anyone, btw. I call it a sinkhole of an area because of the low paying jobs compared to the high cost of living. The area is designed for the military.
