Where is the entrance to the McDonalds Holiday Lights? The website says 2nd Street but that doesn't appear to be anywhere near the Boardwalk.

That's where it is. There's usually a line on weekends, and IMO it's not that good.

I've never been, but to me driving down the boardwalk doesn't sound so exciting. I'd go to the show at Botanical Gardens or even Christmastown at Busch Gardens. It's been years since I went, but also the light show at City Park in Newport News.

2nd Street and C Street off Birdneck Road? I went to the Botanical Gardens last year and figured I'd do the Oceanfront one this year.

2nd Street and Atlantic Avenue. Just drive south on Atlantic Avenue. Just around the loop on the oceanfront side is 2nd street.

THIS. As you reach 2nd street on Atlantic, there will be signs for you to follow. You'll loop around and then you'll come to the entrance where you pay. Once you go through there, you'll turn to the left to enter the Boardwalk. It's all marked.

If you go to this link, they have a $2.00 coupon you can print. That's $2 off the admission. Every little bit helps.

Thanks everybody; I went last night (Wednesday) and had no trouble finding the place. I used the $2.00 coupon. There was no crowd. I thought the show was enjoyable.

Now you should go out to see the lights at Norfolk Botanical Garden. It's beautiful, just beautiful! They have lights up in the trees that are so pretty. We go every year and we love it.

The Garden is located at 6700 Azalea Garden Road, and their phone number is 757-441-5830.

Thanks. I went last year and I agree the Norfolk Botanical Gardens lights were nice. Next year I think I'll do a whole "100 Miles of Lights" tour, but I think I'm done for now.
