Are there any quaint [old town or main street style] shopping areas or districts in Williamsburg, Jamestown, or Yorktown (or anywhere nearby)? I'm not looking for outlets or malls, but rather more quaint shopping areas. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

RIVERWALKLANDING.COM is one option...although I lived in the area for 20+ years, I never went there! LOL

Merchants Square in Williamsburg has some of that quaint style (just at the end of the historic area close to W&M).

Jamestown is really just Jamestown Settlement and the park, not really any shopping there.

The Pottery used to be a place I highly recommended, but not so much anymore.

I can't think of too many more that really fit your description. Many of the places of that style have given way to more modern options. Many of the cities in the area are doing more modern "city-center" type shopping districts. Williamsburg has the NewTown area, Newport News has City Center at Oyster Point (although last I heard most of those stores were not doing well at all) and Hampton has Peninsula Town Center.
