It's really nice to see some good news about the area's schools.

Quote:
Seven local public high schools are ranked among the top 2,000 in the nation, according to an online list released by Newsweek magazine Monday.

Jamestown High School in Williamsburg and Poquoson High School were in the top 1,000 on the 2013 America's Best High Schools list — Jamestown at 602 and Poquoson at 758.

Tabb and York high schools in York County followed at 1,012 and 1,383. Woodside in Newport News ranked 1,768, followed by Warhill in Williamsburg at 1,832, and Menchville in Newport News at 1,927.

Wow! This just goes to show that you can't rely on these rankings at all. Poquoson High...well if you don't like other races..want to raise a closed minded child..I would highly recommend..if not stay away...I have heard the N word used like the word and...Tabb...don't get me started ...brats...snotty parents..who are so busy making money or faking it to be real parents....I am amazed by these rankings...the parents involvement makes the school...for those who think you get a better education in one of these schools..no drugs in these schools...ok....keep your head in the sand.....I am sure their are exceptions but I think this is a better description than the rankings
