Hey there,

I train at the Family Martial Arts Center and really like it. They teach Kenpo Karate. Here is the link:

For kids martial arts, I'd say King Tiger Martial Arts in Virginia Beach. I have my son going there since Kindergarten..he is now 1st grade going on 2nd this fall. They really are hands on with your child and teach your child to have self-discipline and self-confidence. It's a very family oriented studio. I bring my younger son with me every time his brother has to go to the studio and it's never been a problem. I visited 3 other martial arts studio before picking them, even though it's a little more drive for me compare to the one around the corner from our house, but it's worth it. The owner of the studio is always there teaching and all instructors are engaged with the parents and students. They also do alot of field trips such as skiing, kayaking, surfing., etc.,
