How many of you guys are into it? I try to run at least 5K 4-5 times a week. I'm hoping to run the shamrock half in March, and I did color vibe today (poorly planned, and I wont do it again). I always see a lot of other runners when I'm out, so I was wondering if anyone on here was into it?

Hi Spaz, I have recently started running. I enjoy my 1:1 time with myself and God and I run in my local neighborhood. My 16 yr old went and did the Color Vibe yesterday too, I had scout stuff with my son.

I love the time alone too. I think that's the best part. It's a much needed vacation from my day, and it helps my health. Did your 16 year old have fun? There were a lot of people collapsed from heat. With the race open to non-runners, the heat, and no water on the course it was a disaster. There were several people taken away on stretchers.

There's the rock and roll coming up which has historically been god awfully hot, downtown Norfolk and Richmond in November. Search running clubs as I don't think there's very many runners here on the forums.

I do about 30 miles a week. First landing is a peaceful run during the week!

My wife is the runner in the family up here in Williamsburg. She now enjoys trail running more than anything. One of The recent races she completed was a 24 hour endurance race Hampton in which she completed 90 miles, my hero, Like the others she prefers to run by yourself. Lots of scenic places to run around the area

Have to agree on First Landing. Trails are more private than the main path during the weekend if you haven't tried them yet.
