Asking here if anyone knows if any area mil surplus stores are known to have a good selection of boots. I miss my old Bates high tops/chukkas (I know they're not really boondockers) and they're hard to find.

Haven't seen any of the Army/Navy stores around here with a decent supply. Might check out the police/fire fighter supply store as they all wear that type of boot and Bates is still making nice stuff.

There's GI Joes in Norfolk you may want to give them a call. I've never been there but I've heard of it. There's another place near scope my husband likes, but I can't remember the name...
