Due to a series of unfortunate events, I have been rendered team-less for this years Tough Mudder. After searching high and low, I have yet to find a reliable team for the event. As a result, I have decided to start my own team but with some special circumstances. The team I have created is a completely public team and I am inviting any and all participants who are in the same predicament as I am to join!

I really admire how Tough Mudder is pushed as a team event and focuses on support amongst participants to get through the grueling event. However, that philosophy neglects others who want to participate but are forced to go about it alone (including myself). I understand people may prefer that, but this is for those who are afraid to compete alone. I thought it would be nice to create a team where single runners can align together and push each other through the obstacles.

The team I've created is called The Undesirables (fitting, no?). It is signed up to run the Virginia 2014 on Saturday, June 14 in Doswell, Virginia. Sign ups are completely public to join the team, just select it as you register. I encourage any one to join, whether you're out of shape, slow, athletic, aggressive, kind, etcetera. I just ask that you expect a team from various backgrounds that may inhibit your abilities or push you harder than expected. I'm very excited at this prospect, and if you have any questions about the event, team, or myself, please reply with any questions or email me at katireneb@gmail.com

Default Hi

I hope you see this in time but I am running the Tough Mudder on June 14th at 9:30. Before I signed up I wanted to know your time you all are starting. My name is Diamond, 30 yrs old. not totally prepared due to an injury (now healed) and a mix up with my registration. I found out 3 weeks ago that my ticket from last yr (Virginia 2013)was put to this race after 8+ months of Tough Mudder losing my ticket. Anyways, I am ready to go and get this over with!!!
