To those complaining about Oceana, remember that the base was there first when nothing else was around for miles. I'll take a base protecting my freedom any day over the complaints of uninformed home buyers. Should've done your research first before buying in the area. Navy aviation, the sound of freedom!

A-6's rule.....
I'm engineering, so I didn't really pay attention to who it belonged to. I took the A-6 pic from vultures row on the Carl Vinson. It was a cruise we did in 83' if my memory serves correctly. Might even have been the world cruise.

Welcome to VAB. I know what u are ring through. This jet noise is ridiculous. It is taxpayers money being burned into the air. Why cannot they practice over the ocean? They are creating a polluted, noisy environment for the entire community. I also think this is the reason we are seeing more and more deformed children being born and also more cancers arising. I work in a hospital and notice this.

Right. This is the stupid comment corner. What is wrong with the ocean to practice. Are they afraid of the water or cannot swim?
