We had our rental homes carpets cleaned as per the move out list. Well the Land lord texts saying we'll be parrtially responsible for the caarpet replacement because they started smelling of mold (this is days after they dried and after the walk through) He told me he had them cleaned again and then he also did a deodorizer and still no success. Well we did our part. The carpet cleaners having cleaned them shows they were in good condition. How do we know the new tenants did not just want new carpets and they did it? Who is responsible here?
