Stations here in NC have run dry, and my family is supposed to drive to Va Beach tomorrow. I'm advising them against it, but would like to know if there is a shortage there like in Ga, SC and NC?

Not that I am aware. Gas is under $2 here.

(I recommend this website www.gasbuddy.com)

Ya'll may want to watch the pump prices over the upcoming weeks. Not sure why this really isn't being reported, Our
governor just declared a state of emergency, (to prevent gouging), cuz of it.

Colonial Pipeline supplies the entire East Coast. The closed pipeline WILL affect Va in the near future. May not have yet, but it will.

It already has. I don't know about Hampton Roads, but most of the gas stations in Danville were out of gas when I went out this morning. So VA is definitely beginning to feel it. I got lucky enough to find one station that still had gas and everyone else was already making a beeline for it.

Not entirely true. It may not be affecting Hampton Roads yet, but southside VA is definitely having problems. Gov. McAuliffe has already declared a state of emergency.

Southside Virginia struggles with gas shortage after pipeline leak | WSET
The southside in your article isn't the same southside we refer to in HR. I haven't seen any pumps out and on the news today they said to expect a slight rise in prices but not yo worry because there was plenty of supply as long as no one hordes gas. The pipeline should reopen later this week.

WNC reporting here. Gas is scarce. Get it while you can before VB turns into Mad Max.

Was in Atlanta GA. last week, several gas stations were out of one blend or another. The entire state was charging around $2.40 a gal. for regular.
