I live on the peninsula and its so dry. There's nothing to do here. Everything exciting and fun is on the southside but due to the ridiculous traffic on the HRBT I refuse to venture out that way. So basically i live in a prison.

If your job is on the southside, then get a home on the southside. Same for the peninsula. Its that simple. To cross one of the bridge/tunnels on a daily basis is insane! Why would you do that if you had the choice to do so.
