hi,
i was wondering from those who have moved to virginia beach, how hard it was to find a rental/apartment? i might need to be there by the end of may. i am only moving with in the state so it wouldn't be a problem taking a quick trip to look around. i was also wondering if anyone can tell me what there is to do in vb for singles?

Apartment complexes always have openings. Dockside is on military hwy on a waterfront, so you may want to check that out or Reflections on Lynnhaven Pkwy. Always someone moving for one reason or another.

Finding an aparment is easy. Finding a neighborhood that feels safe is the problem, atleast for me. Then again, I'm a parnoid little stooge, so you may have better luck.

I recently went to Reflections and I like the neighborhood and apartments. The people are nice and they suposable have a active community watch group. I havn't descided if I'm going to look at the place, going to Willow Lake to look tomarrow, but it's #1 on my list ATM.

Think of it this way..LOL you're only 9 miles from the ocean, close to the malls/shops/good restaurants and if you like to fish, there are some good places to go that aren't far away!
