Looking to possibly move to Suffolk. I basically just want to make sure my family & I move to a safe family-friendly area. We have 3 homes we are considering in Suffolk at this point- the street names are: Clay St, Clary's Dr, & Lucerne Dr. Sincerely hoping narrowing it down by the street name will help with the easiest, most specific input.
Also, I was advised to stay away from the Rt 10 YMCA/Food Lion area & downtown area. Any other suggestions of place to avoid?
Thanks Suffolk experts!

Clarys Drive is in Jericho. Not that great of a neighborhood- the 'hood basically. + it's right in front of railroad tracks. Clay St. is downtown. Depending on which end you're on, it's kinda quiet. By Lucerne Dr., could that be Lucerne Ave.? That street is in the Orlando neighborhood. I used to live there a few years ago & it was decent & quiet. However it's near the South Suffolk neighborhood. Just get the exact addy of the houses you're looking @ & lokk @ the Google street maps so you know exactly what the street & area looks like. Then you can decide whether you would live there.

I'm a Suffolk native, by the way.
