Waterfront Apartments, Virginia Beach, Virginia

This is a very nice community, but they have alot of complaints about management and internet service providers. Apparently, the community does not use cox or verizon, so if you like the internet and do business on it, I wouldn't consider living there for that reason.

about the apartments, We are thinkin Shoreline apartments.
tell me about this about apartments too

thx
I would not recommend military housing in Norfolk, but Little Creek housing in VB is pretty decent, pretty good schools, decent area, access to Little Creek Base, much easier to get around than Norfolk Base. I would recommend Marina Shores apartments if you can afford it. It is within walking distance to walking/biking trails, grocery store, First State Landing Park, & the beach ! The schools are also very good. It is outrageously expensive to buy a home in that area, but I think for the area, the apartments aren't bad. Also, your husband could take Shore Drive, which turns into Little Creek Rd, straight to the base - no freeways !

I'm going to be stationed in Little Creek soon, but I've never been to Virginia. I was wondering if you have a number for Base housing there and if you can give any info that you can about the base, housing, etc. I'll be bringing my wife and kid with me. Thank you.

If you really want to stay in a military housing, ensure to make a reservation upon arrival coz' it will take some months before you can occupy one. Meantime, there are few rental properties in Virginia Beach which I saw in our MLS which are available to date that are less than $1000/mo and you can contact the agents, namely:
5205 Westhaven Crescent POC Tina Bradley 757-328-7445 (Indian Lakes Subdv)
4739 Goldeneye Ct POC Catrina Watson 757-456-1597 (Brookside Subdv)
5242 Breezewood Arch POC Brenda Johnston 757-499-5688 (Indian Lakes Subdv)
4715 Goldeneye Ct POC Tom Groves 757-646-0911 (Brookside Subdv)

My husband is going to be stationed in Norfolk Virginia and we do not want to live on base there, we have one child in kindergarten, a 2 year old and a new born so we want him to go to a great school and we need to live in a neighborhood with no crime and great schools, we want a 4 bedroom house with affordable rent, anyone with any information let me know asap!

Default Midway Manor

I've heard too many negative comments about that neighborhood from kids who actually live there. I'm a teacher. They tore down the old Navy housing there years ago, which had bad gang problems. From what the kids say, it sounds like Midway Manor will be just like the old neighborhood in time.

My family and I are looking for a 2 bedroom place. We are moving to Fort Story, but cant seem to find anything close to his base. We also thought about off base housing. If anyone can tell us of any places to stay close to Fort Story we would appreciate it. Thanks....Ashley
