i am new to all of this but i see this is a great place to get some questions answered. I am newly engaged to a Navy man he his stationed in Norfolk, Va. He is wanting me to move out there sometime in December? i need to know how to get info on schools. I have a 4 yr old lil boy and i will need some information on the childcare on base and also where i would be enrolling him for kendergarden. If anyone can help plese do. i have alot of research ahead of me.

Your fiance will be getting a package (i.e. information about the base, command, neighboring area, services available, etc.) from his transferring command when it is about time for him to move. Also, he will be assigned a sponsor from the transferring command who will assist him in his move to Norfolk. thank you soo mich i have been soo stressed out with trying to plan to move out there. he is already sattioned In norfolk.. unfortunatly he is out on the ship right now so all the planning to move is left on me.....(better get used to it huh) but i will look into the website some more. i took a quick glance at it and it looked very helpful. again thank you because i literally have like a montha nd a hlf to get this all situated. we get married in aug and me and my son will move out there early sept.

i am new to all of this but i see this is a great place to get some questions answered. I am newly engaged to a Navy man he his stationed in Norfolk, Va.
