There's many distribution facilities in Hampton Roads that pay a wage that is liveable as a single person with no baggage. AAFES, Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart, Pepsi, etc.

I will concede that it is generally a little more difficult to get a "White Collar" position without college around here.

Another job you can look at (only if you have a clean background) is Pop-A-Lock et. other companies of that nature. They pay pretty decent.

if you have cashiering experience, than a bank teller job aint a bad way to go. A full-time teller usually makes $20-25k without a diploma. May not be enough to live in HR but it is still decent money.

May also want to look at Target and Wal-mart stores. People seem to do pretty well and are usually able to work their way up to becoming department managers and what-not. May check with North. Grumn. for intern positions or try Carmax in NN. Hear that they send full time people to college with paid tuition. Also know that Ferguson does the same! Many jobs just have to put yourself out there and start looking!!!

If you like to or don't mind traveling, I can get you an entry position with great future potential that pays a bit better then the norm.
DM me if interested or want more info. Not very demanding or tough work, but you need to be responsible.

You really, yes, stay at home, and at least go to a community college.

Times are bad, and with no back up money- the price to live, and yes health insurance is expensive. Work part time and go to school. Also you do not have a credit history etc., another strike. Then a car, and with gas!
