Our weather is alot like Floridas. Near the water, it can get pretty chilly with the winds and yes, I am known to wear mittens when it is 40 degrees and the wind is 20 knots, especially on the piers!

The weather here is a happy 4 seasons ! Summers are mostly the same on the east coast from VA down to Florida - hot and muggy. The fall is my favorite time of year. The leaves start to change in late October but it rarely gets really cold - 35 degrees or less until the middle of Jan. We rarely get snow, but we do sometimes get flurries. Spring comes early - around March (sometimes Feb) you will start to see trees starting to bud.

I used to live in the DC area and the winter weather was miserable - snow, sleet, rain all winter long. 3 hours south - in Hampton Roads - we never see that kind of weather thanks to the ocean currents.

I do love the weather here!
