When I saw the 13 news guys out there this morning, it wasn't no picnic. They said the sun was shining this morning and within minutes, the sky turned dark, the wind kicked up and the rain was a blowin! We just came in from putting all our lawn furniture back in the yard.

I was very disappointed at the lack of rain and from a hurricane at that. We could of used 3-4 inches, although not at one time. That is, speaking from my home in central VB.

Well, this is post-Hanna. I cleaned up my yard yesterday. I have a lot of trees in my neighborhood and so had some leaves and limbs to clean up. The strangest thing happened though. A limb from my neighbor's ginormous oak tree fell and ripped down the cable line in front of his house. Thankfully for me I am the house before his so I still had all my services - cable, internet and phone. Then yesterday someone came and 'repaired' the line. Low and behold I had zilch signal anymore so I go to the side of my house and I suppose the repair person cut my line altogether right at the box on my house! Made me mad. What were they thinking?!! /rant

It wasn't as bad as they projected...thank God. I did see some twigs, branches and leaves on alot of yards...but other than that...I haven't seen any extreme issues.
