I am looking at the Marina Shores apartments by Shore Dr. and am wondering if anyone has heard anything about these or maybe live there. I have heard its a nice neightborhood, but want to know if anybody has heard anything about them or personally know anything about them.

I think they're really nice, and it's a great area. It has a very "Virginia Beach" feel to it. Right there by the Marina, with all the boats, the beach is minutes away, and it's on the Lynnhaven Inlet which is gorgeous. Plus Shore Dr has some of the best seafood restaurants in the area (Bubba's, Dockside Inn, Hot Tuna, Chick's, Charlie's, Kokomo's and LynnHaven Fish House to name a few) that are all within a 2 min drive from there. You could walk to Kokomo's, or even Hot Tuna, in fact. Seashore State Park is right down the road too. Marina Shores is tucked away, so I imagine its pretty quiet there, but the Oceanfront is maybe 10 mins away if you want some nightlife. Good choice!

Very true! Fishing under the Lesner is soooo relaxing. I prefer to go out on the boat and do Bay fishing, especially around this time of year (Striper!), but during the summer it's nice. Get some friends, hang out down there on a nice summer night, and the stress melts away. Haha.

I certainly can relate to that. When I came here via Holy Loch, Scotland, we fished there every weekend. It was like the best time ever. Since we bought our boat and rv, we are so blessed to just relax and enjoy life on the weekends that we're not working!
