Hello, I need to get a wellness exam for my new dog and am looking for someone affordable (i.e. will not charge me a fortune and will not try to upsell me a lot of services my dog does not need). I live in the Williamsburg area but am willing to drive a little for a good, affordable vet.

Thanks guys!

Try Petsmart. They have a wellness program you can purchase on a yearly basis.

If Im not mistaken, Petsmart is associated with Banfield, and they are not cheap at all. I had my cats surgery for bladder stones at one, almost 2,000 dollars.

Remember....the plan does not cover surgeries. 165 a year (for my dog's estimate) was not a bad price for regular visits.

Dr. Gussman at Jolly Pond Vet - they are excellent caregivers, do minimum care/procedures, takes the most conservative approach. She has many pets of her own, treats all of ours like they are her own.
