Hi:

I have to go out of the country for (3-4) months and although I hate to do this, have to board my (2) dogs. I looked at the option of taking them through quarantine although the cost is in excess of $6,000 per dog, which I am sure boarding would not come even close.

Anywhere in Norfolk or even a few hundred miles any direction will drive.

ANY suggestions, please help?

Thanks

PetSmart has their pet hotel, though I don't know what their limit is on timeframe. You could also check out vet offices. I know mine has boarding options.

I would be very careful on selecting a dog boarding business. Is there anyone on your family or really close friend that you would trust with your dogs?

I take my dogs to the Pet Resort at Greensprings in Williamsburg. They are great there and my dogs love going and hate to leave.

Default This is the only place I would consider

Holly Ridge Manor. It is in the pungo area of VB. They have nice "rooms" for the dogs and plenty of play time.

I bet you'll miss them in that length of time. Good thing dogs don't have a concept of time!HOME (broken link)
