I have narrowed down staying downtown to the Sheraton or Marriott.

Anyone have any input they can provide on which one to choose? We will be arriving around 3pm, going to dinner, then a show at the Norva, then hitting up some nightlife downtown afterwards. Which is most convient to walk to the Norva and other nightlife at night?

All this being said, which would you suggest?

What is the main difference? I booked the Sheraton but can change it.

Seriously, Downtown Norfolk is so small either hotel would be fine. Everything is within walking distance inside downtown limits.

Either hotel is nice. The Marriot is nostaligic and the Sheraton is modern. Sheraton is on the water and the Marriot is 2 blocks in from the water. Take your pick, either is a good choice.

You can throw a rock and hit one hotel from the other just about.....Both are nice hotels and either one will be fine.....I think most people find the Marriott as the better hotel of the two but if you don't plan on spending allot of time in the hotel does it really matter ? Go with what ever is the cheapest and use the money you saved for something else

If you are looking for the more quality hotel it will be the Marriot. I've worked at both and had dialogue from people staying at both.
