I think its because people really are divided about 50/50 in Hampton Roads, they either hate it or they love it.

There are a whole lot of people here against their will (military). There are a whole lot of younger people who graduated college and found out there isnt much demand for almost anything, and there are tons of people, many of them young, who are at a standard of living that is completely unacceptable. They cant find good jobs, and they certainly cant find affordable housing. Im willing to bet Hampton Roads has one of the highest rates of any big city, of adults over the age of 25 living with their parents.

Count your blessings. You are lucky indeed! ANYONE earning 80Gs a year is a fortunate individual economically speaking, no matter how deserving you believe you are. You've obviously got some good financial karma unfolding at this time in your life, and it may or may not continue for you. Life turns on a dime sometimes. Enjoy it and appreciate it while you got it.

vbbryan725....your name has been unofficially added to the lucky list...for now. There is no guarantee that you will be on it down the road. Enjoy it and appreciate your good fortune while you have it.

Probably made a smart choice in your field instead of following everybody else!

Doesn't mean I have to support your enormously annoying whinefest. You got out. Go.

I don't think that the fact that someone wants to move somewhere else, constitutes a "whinefest."

Speaking of "whinefest"....there is a Wine Fest at Town Point Park in Norfolk this weekend!
