There was an article a week or two ago in the Pilot about a successful sushi restaurant in Chesapeake, anyone else read the article and remember the name?

Also what are your faves? No bashing here, please.

I think I had a memory jogger: it may have been Nana Sushi in Chesapeake.

Did not see the article you mentioned but I think the best sushi in Tidewater is at Soya's in Hampton.

Couldn't find article either.

Checked out Nana on Gen. Booth Blvd. (C-peake) and saw they'd won "Best of" in 2008-9. I had the kim chi seafood soup. Will have to go back in wintertime and try that again.

Diastsu on Battlefield near Walgreen/Home Depot. It's small, family owned and they have awesome lunch specials.

Oh no...go check out Kapanara's on Oyster Point, just over Jefferson intersection. Their ginger dressing is to die for.

My favorite place is the Sakura on Shore Dr in VB. It's always so clean, the wait-staff is awesome, and the rolls are real high quailty. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I'd eat there everyday if I could afford it.

Matsuri's in Loehmans' plaza is great and they have lunch buffets.
