Sure you can find places in Va Bch that has higher crime then other sections of VA Bch but over all the crime in VA Bch is still well below that of Norfolk...Va Bch has been well known for many years as being the safest city of its size in the nation...

Is crime in Va Bch getting higher by the day, sure the city is getting older by the day and thanks to the city leaders of past they let BS devolopers like R G Moore build tons of multi family areas which is normally the first place crime gets a foot hold in and then speads from there...So do I expect the crime stats in Va Bch to be higher this year then last....sure look at todays economy, but I expect every local city to have higher stats...But when you look at the crime stats for both Norfolk and Va Bch per 100,000 people which is how stats are presented to the Feds nation wide the stats are not even close....Norfolk is much higher
