Just curious as to what these lil buggers are that I've seen crawlin' around. They seem to be pretty fast too!
Edit: From lookin' around on the web real quick it looks like he's a "Funnel Web Grass Spider"? Which from what I read they're "non-agressive" and their venom is "low risk" however the first aid guide for them said that their venom causes "extreme pain, difficulty breathing, profuse sweating"... Can anyone confirm? And why was this grass spider indoors? Just that time of year?

I am no expert on spiders except for the fact that I don't like any spider! I live near the Nansemond River and we have spiders that look like that one you posted and we call them "marsh spiders". They are in the house and we see them around the doors trying to get in. I have no clue whether they are poisonous or not, but you are correct, they are quick! Our exterminator also calls them "wolf spiders" but I don't think that is what they are. I don't think they are furry enough. Anyway, good luck to you!
