We moved here recently and are at a loss for what kids can do for fun on the weekends. Where can you go under the age of 21 to listen to live music or dance in the Hampton Roads area? My daughter is 18, doesn't drink and just wants to go out and have a good time listening to live bands or maybe a dance club once in a while. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Sevens was closed and is being renovated into a new club by a new owner.

Waterside is supposed to have activities for teenagers... The Norva is usually all ages, just expect an X on your hands if you are under 21.

So isn't that a good place for her since she is just 18

And yes 80s night at The Wave is fun so I've heard. Good dance music.

Thanks so much! She doesn't care if they stamp her forehead, as long as she can enjoy herself!! LOL I think she'll steer clear of the gay clubs but she'll give the others a try. Too bad there isn't anything in Hampton or Newport News since those areas are closer for us. Anyway, thanks again!
