If venture to McArthur mall, there is a real barber shop on the lower level near Dillards. We take my son there every 2 weeks for his ROTC haircut because they do a great job.

Head north on Colley Avenue to Ed's Barber Shop. A good haircut in a real barber shop, very reasonable price too.
