I have a client that will be moving out of the area within the next year.

He wants me to do a 7 piece collection for his office that will show everyone else a beautiful piece of each one of the cities.

What would you recommend I start scouting out locations for in each one of the cities? I know I'll end up shooting atleast a dozen location in Va Beach and Chesapeake alone, but I'd like to hear from everyone and what you think should be captured about each one of the cities!

- Hampton's Old Wythe neighborhood
- Newport News' Kiln Creek area
- Norfolk's Waterside Dr or Larchmont neighborhoods
- There is a park in Portsmouth that provides a good view of the ocean and one of the bridge-tunnels it was near the Southern Western Branch area of Chesapeake. I photographed from there last year.

I can tell you how to get to it. It's right off I-664 at the Tidewater Comm college (College Dr) take it all the way to the back.

The Hague section of Ghent is pretty awesome. Also, the views of Town Center from Mt. Trashmore in VB are kinda cool. Anywhere along the Lynnhaven Inlet in VB is pretty beautiful too, imo. There's tons of bridges and roadways that cross it, so I'm sure a shot from one of them would be nice (especially at sunset).

Some ideas: a capture of Virginia Beach Town Center, one of downtown Norfolk (at Christmas time with the lights is best), something from Norfolk Botanical Gardens, the bridge in Newport News Park, something alone the wharf area in Hampton, the Neptune Statue at the beach, the Memorial near Oceana NAS, the lions near the Mariners Museum (best near sunset), James River at sunset can be spectacular as well.

For some more ideas, a lot of my collection here is local work and lets you know where it was captured if you want to go out and capture it yourself:
