I'm going with 7 year old boys and my husband.

We've never been to VA and would love a really neat experience.

We're interested in upscale hotels that offer something for families: kids club, even a microwave etc.

If you know of kid-friendly restaurants or activities, that would be great too!

Thanks!

Alley

I live here and haven't stayed at the hotels, but I check "tripadvisor" online, and I have always been happy with my choices based on this site. You can also get bargain deals.

The Westin at 31st Street has an endless pool on the roof and is upscale.

There is plenty of stuff at the oceanfront for kids. Flipper McCoys is an arcade, Jungle Golf mini golf (and probably a few more, there is an indoor mini golf as well), junk shops, etc.
