Hi all. I am living in Norfolk for work. I bought a 52" tv a few months back and barely used it. Since I barely use it (5 hours/week at most), live in a small apartment, and will be moving out of the area soon, I would like to sell it. I still have the original box. My question is, how the heck do I sell this thing? My first thought is craigslist, but I'm a little concerned about the safety aspect. I don't really have any friends here that can be with me when someone comes to look at it/pick it up. Also, if it's out of the box, then we'll have to spend time boxing it up when the person is here and that's just more time they are in my apartment.
Any ideas? I'm really stuck, but need to sell this darn thing soon! Anyone on here looking for a tv?

Place an ad in the Virginian Pilot and the Daily Press.

What kind (LCD, Plasma, LED, etc) is it?

How much do you want for it?

What brand?

sony bravia, 52 inch, KDL-52S5100. 1080p. LCD
Here is a link: KDL-52S5100 | 52" BRAVIA S Series HDTV | Sony | Sony Style USA

Would be willing to take $750 for a no BS experience (cash payment, fast pickup, overall smooth experience etc). TV is basically brand new..barely used. Just need to get it off my hands. I just boxed it all up, so it's in the original box. Would strongly prefer to not have to unpack it again in my apartment.

Paid $1100 on sale in January.

This is really no different craigslist, it just costs money, and youd actually probably have less exposure with your ad by putting it in the paper. You still have the same problem with safety. Its not like the Pilot screens people coming to look at your TV.

Price isnt too bad I dont think. Then again, I would never pay that much for any television. I hope you find someone who will though.
