You answer is a mixed bag. There are some pretty rough sections, and, if you drive down North Witchduck, most of it looks pretty dumpy. If you go through Aragona Village, which is the major neighborhood by there, its mostly medium sized ranch houses, and many look poorly maintained. The whole area just has a dumpy feel to me, kind of like the Oceana area of Virginia Beach.

Why are you wanting to move to this particuliar area? I assume maybe you are getting a job around there? Is there a particuliar price range you are looking for?

I say this because the Pembroke area in general, has a number of different neighborhoods, different dwelling types, at different prices. They range from very expensive condos in Town Center, and some expensive water front houses, all the way to townhouses in somewhat questionable areas.

I'm looking for an apartment near Little Creak Base. I saw a recommendation for Pembroke Lake apartments, but in reviews I read online, many people recommended Pembroke Crossings instead. The company that owns Pembroke Crossings also owns North Beach apartments (I have friends who used to live there and liked it). I like this company because they allow large dogs.
I don't want to pay more than $8-900, in a safe/nice neighborhood, near the base.

Perhaps the Diamond Springs area? It's still relatively close to Pembroke, and not too far from Little Creek.

That area is weird, in that Diamond Springs has nice parts, but literally across the street from there, it can get a little sketchy.
