Hi all. My family moved back to the area a couple years ago - from Virginia, where we lived 2 minutes down the road from a deep river where we could go swim anytime, bathing suit or not. Really missing it. I'm a big hippie. I've looked on swimmingholes.org, but most of the places listed are state and private parks that charge and have crowds (and require suits!). I'd just like to know some places within an hour or so of Harrisburg/Hershey that are creeks or rivers good for quiet natural swimming. No snack bars, no human-made sand beach, no concrete... Don't mind a walk through the woods to get there, so long as it's pretty clear which way to go. Anyone know of any? If you don't want to "spread the word," so to say, feel free to pm me with your secrets!

Fuller Lake is an amazing spot if you don't mind the commute from Harrisburg.
