Greeting to everyone, I'm new at this.
Moving to Pensylvania this summer. I'll be working at Indiantown Gap. I'm Looking for an apartment/area within 15-20 minutes commuting distance. Can anyone suggest a good place to live in the area. I won't need any school information, just a safe and reseanable place to lay my head when I come home at night.

A few suggestions on where to look, ordered clockwise from east to west:

Fredericksburg is a very small little town right off of the interstate, has a grocery store (Redners), a few small restaurants, and not much else. Also Jonestown, which is also very small and rural. If you're looking to rent, there might be a few houses or partial-houses available.

Directly south is Annville, a cute and quaint little college town (Lebanon Valley College), and it has life. Grocery stores, entertainment, restaurants, and it's in a good spot to get to other spots (Lebanon and Hershey for more shopping, entertainment, restaurants). If you're looking to rent, there is a beautiful former-textile mill converted to apartments - Anvil Mill Quarters.

Swinging to the west is Grantville, which also doesn't have much in the way of rental properties, I don't believe. And a bit further west than that, while still staying in your 15-20 minute commute radius is (north-eastern) Hummelstown. Look around the area where Rt 39 meets Rt 22 and I-81. There is a beautiful luxury community property called The Reserve at Hershey Meadows.

Then further west, you've got some Harrisburg postal addresses. Look into Skyline View, Paxtonia, and Linglestown. Lots of activity, entertainment, shopping, restaurants nearby, but it will be kind of pushing 20 minute commute a bit longer.

I thought there was a newer townhouse complex in Jonestown, don't know the name of it though. I would imagine the base real estate office (do they still have such things for those undergoing PCS?) would know where to send people nearby.

I know there's Walnut Manor in Jonestown (link). When I toured it, a good 5 years ago, it was very not nice. The woman in the office made noises like it was subsidized housing and not a good fit for me, but I think she was just trying to frighten me away (it worked). It could very well have turned around by now.
