I just joined this site in hopes to get advice on moving my family. I'm a single mother of 2. I am not currently working due lack of jobs where I currently live Kulpmont,PA. There for I do get help from the county (housing foodstamps and medical). I have spent the last 3 months doing research online(jobs, schools,apartments,things to do, ect,) where the best place to move would be. I can not afford to move. My income is less the $500 a month. And in my research I have come to find that moving to Mechanicsburg, Pa. would be the BEST thing for my childern and myself. The only things holding me back is lack of money and fear of failing my kids more then I have now. Granted we are not homeless and my kids are feed and clothed. I have no family where I am now, I have no suport system. The apartment we are in is to small. The landlord has rented the other apartments to young kids that like to party till all hours of the night so on and so on. Its just not a good inveirment for my kids. I need to move somewhere there are jobs. There are so many reason why we should move. I know in my heart this is the right thing to do. I guess what I'm asking for is advise. What should I do, how should I do it. Anything thing that will help.
