Hello everyone,

My family and I plan on moving to PA in September . Im just trying to do research right now about Harrisburg and other areas of PA. My mother is a Cook in the School Systems here in new york, My sister works at Stop and Shop and my Boyfriend works as a Home Health Aide. I am a tattoo artist myself that is my profession at the moment. I keep reading bad reviews about the Harrisburg area. I am pregnant and I am due in February and I dont want to have my baby in a dangerous area. And alot of places are allowing Dogs but they dont allow Pitbulls. Unless I have my own insurance policy which I will be getting soon before the move. But I need some input and advice.

How bad in harrisburg really?
Are there any Home Health Aid agencies in Harrisburg or in PA?
If harrisburg is a bad area which areas are better?
How are the buses out there in PA in general?
How do I find out if the school systems out there are hiring for an assistant cooks or cooks?
And What kind of licensed and Permits would I need to obtain to continue to tattoo while im out there?

I live about 45 minutes outside of Harrisburg so I can try to answer your questions the best that I can.

Crime is getting worse in Harrisburg. Google a local news station like ABC27 and you will see what I'm talking about.
There are quite a few home health agencies in the area.
There are buses in the city, but I've never ridden them.
