I'm moving back to Carlisle. and there's a chance the apartment might be a no pets type of place due to living on social security . i suffer from mental illness and woul like a pet. i am wondering what animals aren't considered pets? I was thinking fish, birds, reptiles, or exotic animals. my family is willing to rescue one for me to take care of, but I'm not sure about the legality of certain animals. thank you ahead of time for your time and response.

I think you need to ask the owners of the apartment building what they consider pets. It doesn't really matter about anyone else's definition.
