Camp Hill area, nice apts around 700/month?? (Harrisburg, York: section 8, rent)

Hi guys! Long time listener, first time caller...
Relocating soon, very soon, to a job in York area, but g/f is looking for a job in her field near the Harrisburg area. Neither of us wants to live across the river in Harrisburg central, having seen the rush hour traffic.
We would like to compromise and focus in the Camp Hill area, but can move a bit farther down towards York if needed...
We don't have a lot of money initially, and would be looking at hopefully a two-bedroom living situation. We are coming from N-E PA, and had a half a house for 600/month in a nice area - of course with us paying everything else since the rent was so affordable.
Definitely want to avoid any section 8 type of places, and we are open to small houses/older houses in that 700/month range - we are a bit flexible on the amount but not by much.
Girlfriend would like to eventually have a little dog but 'no pet' places are okay for us for now - it's more about having a safe quiet area that isn't too too far from Harrisburg or too far away from 83/York area...
