Looking for a NICE rental house in Palmyra or Hershey! (Harrisburg: rentals, school)

Hi there,

My family found out about 2 weeks ago that our landlady thinks she has to have major septic work done soon, so she can't renew our lease. We are a family of 5, looking for a nice house in Palmyra or Hershey to rent, and having horrible trouble. We'd really prefer to stay in Palmyra, because our kids really like the school and their friends there. But Hershey has a great district, so we'd probably be willing to move there. We'd even consider Annville or Hummelstown (if it's in Derry SD). We're looking for at least 3 bedrooms with at least a decent yard, and cat-friendly (2 neutered males who have never had a single accident, even as kittens!). Our landlady will give us a great reference. We can pay up to $1300 for a 3 bedroom or $1800 for a 4 bedroom.

It seems like most of the rentals around here are either really run down, won't allow pets, or have no yard at all and are on scary busy roads. Why is it so hard to find a rental???

Please message me if you know of anything or know of agencies or realtors that rent homes (I know Jack Gaughen, but can't really find listings with other realtors) - we really don't want to move any closer to Harrisburg than Hummelstown. Thanks!
