My family and I will be taking a trip to the Lancaster and Hershey, PA area soon. One of our children, a 2yo is allergic to both eggs and nuts. We have accommodations that include a kitchen so we can prepare his food, but I am considering possibly going to a restaurant as well. We generally don't go to restaurants, but thought we might if we could find any allergy friendly places. If you live in this area or have visited a restaurant with good success, please let me know. Thank you

I'm a celiac and so I have experience with gluten-free dining in Lancaster, but I don't have to avoid eggs and nuts so I don't know about those in particular. You should definitely check out Lemon Street Market in Lancaster, which has lots of health/natural foods for you to stock in your kitchen. It also has a small cafe where I'm sure they know all the ingredients they're using and would be happy to customize for you. Other gluten-free favorites of mine are Rice and Noodles (Vietnamese food) and Himalayan Curry and Grill, as long as your kids aren't picky eaters. Note that Himalayan Curry is a little bit fancier and you'll need a reservation for dinner.

Good luck!!
