You know, that's a wonderful point & so true. Since we spend the majority of our week with co-workers, they can certainly influence our daily mood & make or break a work environment. And, thank you for your good wishes. I'm currently interviewing for 2 jobs in PA... 1 company is fairly small (less than 50 employees) & the other is an international company, but has a small office outside of Philly. So, I am hoping for a pleasant workplace, as well.

BTW, El Paso is very polarizing, so your friends opinions don't surprise me.
I know they were upset about crime in their 'hood, but who knows... sometimes one doesn't like a place as their personal life (or work life, as you mentioned) isn't great at the moment, so the city/state gets the blame. Not sure what else had them so antsy to get out. They were in El Paso for almost 10-yrs.
