I live on Main Street in Newville and in the past few weeks there has been a significant increase in dump trucks, tractor trailers and just trucks in general. I know some of these trucks are going to the landfill but they normally don't go through the east side of town. They use 233 from 81 or the turnpike exit in Newburg.I noticed a sign at the corner directing trucks to use 641. I cannot find any info from PennDot on bridge or road closures or on the turnpike website. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I will need to move if this continues. The noise and exhaust is ridiculous. I have been here 6 months and this is the first time it has been this bad.
