I have been searching online for the last few days trying to find a breeder in the area that has Bichon Frise pups for sale. I haven't had much luck, but I know there are (or used to be) quite a few Amish breeders that had/have them. I think I am having a hard time finding local breeders because they don't have websites or advertise on the net.

I am searching for a Bichon pups on behalf of my parents, and have limited resources since I moved out of state a few years ago.

I would appreciate it if anyone reading this could provide any contact info if there any pups for sale.

Try Petfinder or Bichon Frise rescue group. These dogs deserve to be rehomed and have been fostered, evaluated, checked for temperament and personality and usually come with nominal re adoption fees. They are usually neutered and up to date on health issues (shots, medications, dental screenings) and are often micro chipped.

You could also try the American Kennel Club, they often list breeders that are reputable.

Do not seek out an Amish breeder. There have been multiple stories in the media about the appalling puppy mills they operate. You would find a healthier dog through a rescue.

The Amish are notorious for running brutal puppy mills. I would avoid them at all costs.
